We’re building a space for people to truly
connect without distraction.

In a world of constant distraction, Are You REALLY Listening? is a two-hour workshop that brings people together with curiosity to listen, to connect, and to leave with tools that last.

We’d love to tell you more! Interested in bringing AYRL to your school, workplace, community or organisation? Book a free 20 minute call, no pressure, just a conversation.

WHO’S THIS FOR?

WHY THIS MATTERS

We live in a world of constant distraction.

Screens, schedules, and competing demands mean our attention is divided almost all the time. Most of us are not failing at connection, we are overwhelmed by it.

And yet the gap keeps growing.

AYRL exists because that silence has a cost.
And because two hours in the right room CAN change things.

WHAT HAPPENS ON THE DAY

AYRL is not a lecture. This is something different.

From the moment you arrive, you are part of it.

Over two hours you will hear real-life stories from a speaker who has navigated the very challenges your community is facing. You will take part in interactive workshops and activities that shift perspective. You will make pacts. You will explore ways of communicating that go beyond words — through crafts, movement, and shared experience.
There is live music. There are snacks. There are take-home gifts.

And running through all of it is one central question: are you REALLY listening?

You leave with practical tools, a shared language, and a clearer sense of how to stay connected when life inevitably speeds up again.

WHAT MAKES AYRL DIFFERENT

1. It creates a structured pause
In a culture driven by speed and distraction, we offer a deliberate interruption. Not reactive. Not remedial. Preventative, proactive connection-building before the cracks appear.

2. It provides a neutral third space
Most conversations happen at home, at work, at school, or in moments of conflict — where roles are fixed and patterns are established. AYRL takes place somewhere different. That shift alone changes everything.

3. It focuses on being heard — not being correct
We do not attempt to fix. We strengthen the skill of listening, creating conditions for mutual respect and clearer communication. No blame. No judgement. No right answers.

4. It offers practical tools, not just conversation
Participants leave with listening frameworks, strategies for reducing digital distraction, and ways to articulate feelings more clearly, tools that transfer directly into everyday life.

5. It is interactive from start to finish
Crafts. Movement. Activities. Live music. This is a genuinely immersive experience, not a talk with a Q&A at the end.

6. It is adaptable to any audience
Every AYRL event is tailored to the community it serves — the speakers, the topics, the tone and the participants. What stays constant is the commitment to genuine, intentional listening.

You can choose the speaker topic or we can suggest an appropriate fit.

If it matters to your community, we can build an event around it.

We can activate an event using our diverse and growing network of speakers across:

Very little. We bring the experience. You provide the space and the people.

What does it cost?

Do you come to us?
Yes — AYRL can be delivered anywhere.

At its core, AYRL addresses something subtle but significant: the gradual erosion of quality connection.

In an increasingly noisy world, we rarely pause. We rarely reflect. And we almost never carve out shared time that is free from distraction and agenda. AYRL provides exactly that — a neutral space, away from the pressures of everyday life, where people can slow down, listen differently, and leave with practical communication skills that actually transfer into their relationships at home.

Intentional listening is not a luxury. It is foundational.
